Cole Harbour Basketball Summer Programs

Travel Teams

Girls and Boys, including Rockets Elite and UBB. Open to athletes from any fall/winter club or program.
Season runs April through July. Travel teams practice 2-3 times weekly, pay an initial fee for gym time and insurance, then fundraise to cover costs of travel to various tournaments in Canada and the US (for some teams). Upfront fee is approx. $575. Fundraising target will vary for each team and their travel ambitions.

Girls Tryouts are December 2025 - signup is open.  Expecting U12/U13/U14 and U16 - Coaches apply to jason@rocketsbasketball.ca

Boys Tryouts will be in Early 2026, signup is open.  Expecting U12/U13/U14/U15/U16/U17 and U18. With UBB and Rockets Elite - and multiple teams in U13/U14/U16/U17. Rockets Elite Coaches apply to president@rocketsbasketball.ca Rockets Elite players will be eligable to play in both Travel and Sprummer programs.

Sprummer Leagues

Our Spring/Summer House Leagues will be back this year and bigger than before.

Our competitive house leagues offer an alternative (or an addition) to Summer Travel teams for athletes to continue to play basketball without the large costs associated with travel (hotel, meals, transportation).

We run tryouts, take the top 40 athletes, and form 4 balanced teams in each age group.
Teams receive:

• Two practices per week

• Four local tournaments (4 games each)

• Custom Summer Jersey included

Target Groups for 2025

• U10 Boys (4 Teams)

• U12 Boys (4 Teams)

• U14 Boys (4 Teams)

• U16 Boys (4 Teams)

• U10/12 Girls (4 Teams)

Spring FIBA 3x3

We will offer FIBA 3x3 in the spring again this year.
This season begins at the end of Club Play, and we work hard to ensure there is no overlap.

Age Groups

• U10 Boys and Girls

• U12 Boys and Girls

• U14 Boys and Girls

Each group receives 8 sessions per season.
Half of each session focuses on skills development, followed by 3x3 gameplay in the second half.

Some weeks will include two sessions; some will include one.
